We invite applications for 1 post-doc position (24 months) at the Institute of Chemical Sciences of Rennes. The successful candidate will be contributing to our ongoing efforts in elucidating the molecular-scale reactions and reactive transport processes in icy environments involving a variety of gravimetric analysis and in situ time resolved spectroscopic techniques. To qualify, applicants must hold a ph.D in surface chemistry, environmental chemistry, geochemistry or related areas. Required skills for the post to be filled are: vibration spectroscopy, colloidal chemistry and reactive transport modeling. The successful candidate will have access to excellent experimental and computational research facilities that are supported by competent scientific staff, and will also benefit from attractive working conditions. He will also benefit from close interactions with other PhD students and post-docs recruited by the PI’s group, as well as from numerous international collaborations (Sweden, Germany and UK).
