I am pursuing a PhD research with innovative training network (ITN-PANORAMA), funded by European Union’s Horizon 2020 research under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Grant. My thesis topic is dedicated to the reactive transport of rare earth elements (REE) and interactions with mineral surfaces such as quartz, goethite, and organo-mineral colloids. My work is focused on understanding the molecular interactions of REE and their macroscopic behavior in porous media. To check this, I develop surface complexation and reactive transport models.
